Jane Doty Fischer

Jane Doty Fischer, PhD, is an international and national trainer, a consultant, author, and coauthor of numerous resources. Dr. Doty Fischer has background and expertise in school improvement at the district, school, and classroom levels and works with teachers, teacher leaders, and leadership related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Her passionate leadership inspires and promotes change.

Dr. Doty Fischer established and codirected a summer enrichment program at the State University of Oswego, developed and implemented a schoolwide enrichment program, was director of mathematics in charge of unpacking and aligning standards K–12, worked long term with several school consortia, and contributed to educational projects with Disney, ABC, and PBS. She was Teacher of the Year, Educator of the Year, and received a commendation from the governor of Indiana for her work with educators.

Dr. Doty Fischer earned her PhD in curriculum and instruction from Capella University, where she graduated with a 4.0; her certificate of advanced study in educational administration from the State University at Oswego; her MS in gifted education from the State University at Plattsburgh; and her BS in elementary education from Keuka College.
