Jon-Eric Ziaer is the principal of Reedy High School in Frisco, Texas. Previously, he served as associate principal at Liberty High School in Frisco ISD, which he helped lead to Model PLC status. In addition, he has served as associate principal of Coppell (Texas) High School, director of curriculum for Coppell ISD, and a high school social studies teacher.

Jon-Eric is passionate about strengthening the collective ability of collaborative teams in support of all students and educators. He focuses on improving school systems through the promotion and development of shared leadership. He has experience in leading the efforts in growing a campus PLC in multiple districts, with emphasis on the structures and tools necessary to support both students and educators. Jon-Eric also helps build capacity in teacher leaders and emphasizes the importance of aligning instruction, assessment, and interventions with the standards to ensure success for all students.

Jon-Eric earned his bachelor’s degree from Southwest Texas State University and his master’s degree in educational leadership from Lamar University.
