Bev Clemens, PhD, is an experienced educational leader who has worked in large suburban districts and in smaller urban districts with diverse student populations. In addition to her work with Marzano Resources, Dr. Clemens works with a small nonprofit organization focused on developing leadership skills in school leaders who are working to transform schools to meet the needs of all students.
- Michael Evans
Michael Evans, EdD, has 25 years of experience as a classroom teacher, school counselor, building level leader, and district level leader. Dr. Evans has led the transition to standards based grading from the district level, and continues to work to change the paradigm of learning.
- Michelle Finn
Michelle Finn is a professional development associate for the Reinventing Schools Division of Marzano and a coauthor of A Handbook for Personalized, Competency-Based Education. With more than a decade of experience in a variety of educational roles and settings, her classroom-based experience includes teaching grades K–10.
- Douglas Finn III
Douglas Finn III has been working in the area of personalized competency-based education (PCBE) since 2004. Within PCBE, he has taught every grade, kindergarten through graduation, and has been an instructional and administrative coach for schools and districts throughout the country.

Jane Doty Fischer, PhD, is an international and national trainer, a consultant, author, and coauthor of numerous resources. She has background and expertise in school improvement at the district, school, and classroom levels and works with teachers, teacher leaders, and leadership related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
