Heather Potter

Heather Potter currently serves as principal of Knox Middle School in the San Diego Unified School District. Prior to becoming principal, she held the position of vice principal at De Portola Middle School for two years, and vice principal of Millennial Tech Middle for four years. As a classroom teacher, Heather taught seventh-grade science for six years and was a STEM resource teacher for one year. She received her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences education from the University of Delaware and her master’s from National University in San Diego. Heather led Knox out of its state designation as a program improvement school by implementing interventions from Marzano Resources.
