Natalie Wieland is a chemistry teacher and PLC team lead at Westwood High School in Austin, Texas. During 18 years of teaching, she’s experienced many academic successes by implementing The New Art and Science of Teaching framework. Natalie Wieland
Natalie Wieland is a chemistry teacher at Westwood High School in the Round Rock Independent School District in Austin, Texas. In addition to teaching AP Chemistry and Advanced Chemistry, she serves as the Advanced Chemistry professional learning community team lead. With more than 18 years of experience teaching, Natalie has enjoyed great success in the classroom, winning Westwood’s Teacher of the Year, 2020–2021, and serving as the Westwood High School Science Department Chair, 2018–2021.
Natalie attributes her teaching successes to what she’s learned from practicing the frameworks developed by Marzano Resources.
