Bringing motivation and inspiration to the classroom is not an easy task. In their book, Motivating and Inspiring Students, Tina H. Boogren, Robert Marzano, Darrell Scott, and Ming Lee Newcomb outline a framework, based on a six-level hierarchy of student needs and goals, that K–12 teachers can use to impart invigorating instruction.
