Bill Zima is the director of implementation for Marzano Academies, working with schools to help realize their unique vision of high reliability organizations that build agency in all learners.

Jon-Eric Ziaer is the principal of Reedy High School in Frisco, Texas. Previously, he served as associate principal at Liberty High School in Frisco ISD, which he helped lead to Model PLC status. He was previously a curriculum director and a high school social studies teacher.

Philip B. Warrick, EdD, is an author and presenter and has worked globally in the areas of school leadership, instruction, collaborative practices, and grading.

Gerry Varty has served as a classroom teacher, principal, director of curriculum and instruction, assistant superintendent (learning and system improvement), and executive director of professional development.

Mike Ruyle, EdD, has served as a classroom teacher, athletic coach, school principal, program director, university professor, and professional development presenter over a 30-year career.

Mark A. Roberts, EdD, spent 35 years of his educational career as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, director of education, and principal. He has led successful turnaround efforts in seven large, diverse underperforming middle and high schools.

Shane Porter is an education specialist with Region 9 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She specializes in assisting campuses and districts with school improvement and Marzano’s High Reliability Schools (HRS) Framework.

Kristin Poage is a contributing author and presenter for Marzano Resources. She is middle school principal, professional development presenter, and district leader. Her career in education has led her to work in areas of student engagement, grading, instruction, and leadership.

Joe Miniscalco has over 30 years of experience as a professional educator. He has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, senior director of technology and administrative services, and senior director of elementary and secondary instruction.

Robert J. Marzano, PhD, is cofounder and chief academic officer of Marzano Resources in Denver, Colorado. A leading researcher in education, he is a speaker, trainer, and author of more than 50 books and 200 articles.
