Teaching in the standards-based classroom requires significantly more than simply knowing the standards. A true focus on standards in the classroom requires a teacher to understand multiple elements of a standards-based learning environment, including planning, instruction, assessment, and feedback. This session will present a thoughtful and logical approach to planning for and delivering a high-quality opportunity to learn that increases the potential for students to acquire understanding of the knowledge and skills included in standards.
