During this two-day, interactive, retreat-like workshop, leaders, coaches, and mentors will gain specific ways to provide emotional, physical, and instructional support for beginning teachers.

In order to receive the discounted hotel room rate, please mention Marzano Resources. After the deadline listed below, rates will be determined by the hotel. While discounted rooms in our hotel room block may be sold out, the primary hotel may still have rooms available at their standard rates. Please inquire directly with the hotel.

Parking information: Parking Garage and street parking are available.

Workshops held at the Little Rock and Des Moines Training Centers do not include a hotel room block. For your convenience, we provide a list of nearby hotels to assist with travel planning. Attendees may book accommodations directly through the hotel’s website or by calling the hotel. You are not required to stay at any of the suggested hotels. When making reservations, attendees may mention they are attending a Solution Tree or Marzano Resources workshop; however, no discounted rates are available.

If staying at the Hilton Des Moines Downtown, you can access the Training Center via the Skywalk system or by using the street-level entrance located off Fifth Avenue. Directional signage will be posted to help guide your way. For those driving in, parking is available at the City of Des Moines Public Parking Garage located at 525 Fifth Avenue. From the garage, you may access the Training Center via the Skywalk or street-level entrance.
